Yes you right.

But I do not have the patches for 2.18
where I can find?

this page only have patches for binutils 2.16http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/binutils/I am still getting error but I believe is because the
patches

Assembler messages:

There are 2 choices: build binutils from the latest snapshot, or use the
attached patch. This patch has already been committed to binutils:

2008-01-16 Eric B. Weddington <>

* config/tc-avr.c (mcu_types): Change opcode set for avr3,
at90usb82, at90usb162.
* doc/c-avr.texi: Change architecture grouping for at90usb82,
at90usb162.
These changes support the new avr35 architecture group in gcc.50-9-binutils-2.18-avr35.patchDescription:50-9-binutils-2.18-avr35.patch_______________________________________________
