template inheritance problem


Some effort in reading the docs always help. Please spend some time reading
the DjangoBook and experimenting with it.
For your current Q, did you try writing the code and readinghttp://www.djangobook.com/en/1.0/chapter04/properly?

Do you understand what you are doing in your view - as in, do you see the
template name that you have mentioned?

When you pass apples, you cannot expect oranges :)

Well, I got your point. I just ignored the whole point of inheritance
and was expecting some magic to happen.
